    North Carolina deputies looking for suspect in animal cruelty investigation

    PASQUOTANK COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — The Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in identifying a suspect in an animal cruelty investigation, deputies said.

    The man in the pictures allegedly was walking down the road and when he kicked the small dog in the pictures three times. The still pictures are taken from a video from a concerned citizen.

    The incident occurred in the area of Nixonton Road and Halls Creek Road. The suspect was driving a dark colored four-door sedan with New Jersey plates. The suspect is described as a heavy-set male with a northern accent.
