Nebraska has an unorthodox way of awarding presidential electors, departing from the winner-take-all model used by almost all states. Two of the state’s electoral votes go to the statewide winner and the winner in each congressional district gets one elector. Randy Adkins, a political science professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, says the system may change. Adkins also discusses how pivotal Omaha could be in the 2024 election.
