The Full House sisters just can’t seem to get along these days, but it’s not personal beef — no, it’s all about principles. Once again Candace Cameron Bure has come out swinging with an obliquely anti-LGBT statement — and TV sis Jodie Sweetin is here to clap back.

Jodie shared several Instagram posts after Candace accused the Olympics Opening Ceremony of "mocking the Christian faith."

In case you missed it, the Olympics Opening Ceremony sparked widespread backlash from Christians and conservatives around the world.

During the event, a segment of a fashion show featured drag performers and dancers, which some Christians wrongly believed was a representation of "The Last Supper." This well-known artwork by Leonardo da Vinci shows Jesus Christ and his disciples gathered around the table for their final meal before his crucifixion.

Outrage flooded social media as Christians clutched their pearls and condemned the Olympics for — in their mind — mocking their religion.

Bear in mind, the official Olympic account posted that it was, in fact, a depiction of the Greek deity, Dionysus. The head of the Olympics' artistic section, Thomas Jolly, explained that the goal was to create a magnificent pagan celebration linked to the Olympian gods. He went on, "It was unmistakably Dionysus who made his appearance at the feast. Why? Because Dionysus is the Greek god of revelry and wine, and he is the father of Sequana, the goddess of the Seine river."

However, this didn't stop celebrities from participating, as Candace Cameron Bure recorded a lengthy Instagram video. The actor from Full House expressed his dismay at the way the opening ceremonies completely disrespect and ridicule Christianity through their portrayal of the Last Supper, describing it as "disgusting" and "heartbreaking."

Oh! It looks like Jodie Sweetin, the star of Full House, has apparently replied to Candace's video.

In an Instagram story, Jodie shared a video making fun of people who misunderstood the ceremony and used it as an excuse to hate on drag queens. She wrote, "Tell me you don’t know about art or history without TELLING me you don’t know about art or history."

In a report from Entertainment Weekly, it was revealed that she posted a follow-up piece that went into the background of the Dionysus feast. "The drag performers at the Olympics were staging a reenactment of the Dionysus feast, not the Last Supper," the article clarified. "And if you believed it was a Christian allusion — what's the issue? Why is it considered a 'parody' rather than a homage? Can't drag performers also be Christian?"

Candace later edited the caption of her video. She wrote, "Since posting, many have tried to correct me saying it wasn’t about an interpretation of DaVinci’s The Last Supper, but a Greek god and the festival of Dionysus; who is a god of lust, insanity, religious ecstasy, ritual madness etc. I still don’t see how that relates to unifying the world through competitive sports and acceptable for children to watch. In any case, I’m not buying it."

She ended the caption by urging her followers to offer prayers for the "Christian athletes" competing in the Olympics.
