Matt Smith suggests he has no idea where the story will go in S3

Matt Smith, who portrays Daemon Targaryen in the TV series House of the Dragon, mentioned that he hadn't received any news regarding the third season.

His comments were made at New York Comic Con, where he was in attendance with Fabian Frankel (Criston Cole) and Tom Glynn-Carney (Aegon II Targaryen).

Surprisingly, apart from the lead actor, all the other cast members on the panels mentioned they have a general understanding of the direction the story might take after the second season.

"I haven't caught a whisper. I'm curious to know if you've heard anything. I've only picked up bits and pieces that I can't disclose here," the British actor inquired of his co-star. "I've picked up some tidbits that I can't share here," Fabian responded.

In discussions about the forthcoming season, the feedback on the previous season was varied. George R.R. Martin, the mastermind behind the Game of Thrones saga, criticized the adaptation of the story from his novels.

"I do not look forward to other posts I need to write about everything that’s gone wrong with House of the Dragon… but I need to do that too, and I will,” Martin wrote.
