    Ingredients:

    1 lb ground beef

    1 medium onion, chopped

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

    1 cup sour cream

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

    1/2 tsp garlic powder

    Salt and pepper to taste

1 package (30 oz) frozen hashbrowns, thawed

    Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Directions:

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is softened.

    Drain any excess fat.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Stir in the hashbrowns and the browned beef mixture until well combined.

Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
