Where To Honor Those Who Made The Ultimate Sacrifice This Memorial Day

Memorial Day is Monday, but residents didn't have to wait to pay their respects to those who gave their lives for our freedom.

The City of Riviera Beach hosted a Memorial Day Ceremony on Friday at Bicentennial Park Marina Village.

Several events will be happening on Monday across the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast.

They include the largest: The annual Memorial Day ceremony at the South Florida National Cemetery along State Road 7 in Lake Worth.

It will begin with color guards and wrap up with a cannon salute. The ceremony gets started at 11 a.m.

The Village of Wellington hosts its Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade on Monday morning at the Veterans Memorial.

Other cities holding events include Boca Raton , Jupiter , Lantana , Palm Beach Gardens and Royal Palm Beach .

Along the Treasure Coast, there will be Memorial Day ceremonies in Stuart , Port St. Lucie , Fort Pierce , Vero Beach and Sebastian .
