Fundraiser Organized For Lake Park Girl Struck By Car While Riding Bike

A fundraiser is being organized for a young Palm Beach County girl who was severely injured in a crash last month.

Nine-year-old Capri Jordan was riding her bike in Lake Park July 1st when she was struck by a car and seriously injured. She suffered broken bones, needed skin graft surgeries and even had to be put in a medically induced coma for some time.

Now Capri is recovering

and the folks at the Inlet Bar in Riviera Beach are hosting a fundraiser on August 25th from noon to 3:30 p.m. A neighbor and family friend works at the bar and organized the event with the owners who say it just seems like the right thing to do.

During the 3 and a half hours, all of the bar's proceeds will go towards the Jordan family. The girl's family also started a GoFundMe page .
