Southwest Florida Driver Arrested For Battery Following Car Accident

Naples, FL - A 22-year-old man Southwest Florida has been arrested after allegedly punching another driver following a traffic accident.

Authorities say the suspect, identified as Osly Moran, was involved in a collision at the intersection of Mooring Line Drive and 9th Street North in Naples on Tuesday.

After the crash, Moran and the other driver met at a nearby Chase Bank parking lot to exchange information.

When the victim indicated he would be reporting the incident to police, Moran punched him in the face, causing injuries that required medical attention.

Moran then fled the scene but later turned himself in to authorities.

He was arrested on charges of felony battery and leaving the scene of an accident.
