Woman Arrested for Attempted Murder Following Road Rage Incident

Miami Gardens, FL - A Miami Gardens woman was arrested for attempted murder after running over another woman and threatening to kill her during a May confrontation over the woman's ex-boyfriend.

Police say 26-year-old Christal Azure Alexandre, of Miami Gardens, is accused of intentionally running over another woman following a dispute over Alexandre’s ex-boyfriend.

According to police, the incident began as a dispute between Alexandre and the victim, who was celebrating her sister’s birthday with Alexandre’s ex-boyfriend.

The confrontation turned physical in Little Havana, where Alexandre accused the victim of "taking her man" and struck her in the face.

Alexandre then got into her car, reversed, and intentionally ran over the victim's leg while shouting “I’m going to kill you!”

The victim sustained injuries and reported the incident to police two days later.

Alexandre was apprehended on Friday at a Miami Lakes business park and arrested without incident.

She invoked her right to remain silent and was held without bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
