Miami Gardens, FL - A South Miami man has been charged with reckless vehicular homicide after a deadly 120 mph crash in Miami Gardens.

Police say 25-year-old Richaard Terrell Hallman was driving at nearly 120 mph when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree, killing one of his passengers around 3:45 a.m. on July 14th.

Hallman told police he and his passengers were leaving a lounge and heading to a strip club when the accident occurred.

Investigators determined that Hallman was driving at an excessive speed before losing control of his vehicle.

A blood test revealed the presence of alcohol and marijuana in his system.

The victim, a woman who was a rear-seat passenger, was killed as a result of the impact.

Her identity has not been released.

Hallman was taken into custody on a $15,000 bond.
