Caught On Camera: Florida Man Arrested For Animal Cruelty After Viral Video

Miami Gardens, FL - A man has been arrested in connection with a disturbing incident of animal abuse caught on camera.

Police say 33-year-old Richel Yumar-Gonzalez turned himself in to police on Wednesday night and confessed to the crime.

The incident occurred earlier this month at Deluxe Mobile Grooming in Miami Gardens.

A video that went viral showed Yumar-Gonzalez, who was employed by the grooming business, kicking a small dog multiple times.

The owner of the business, Yosuan Rodriguez, fired the employee as soon as he became aware of the incident.

Rodriguez cooperated with police in their investigation and helped them locate Yumar-Gonzalez.

The dog involved in the abuse was not seriously injured.

Yumar-Gonzalez has been charged with animal cruelty and is facing potential jail time and fines.
