Deerfield Beach, FL - A woman has been arrested on child abuse and neglect charges after endangering her 2-month-old baby during a violent rampage.

According to authorities, 37-year-old Hany Matozes More, of Pompano Beach, is also facing charges of criminal mischief and resisting arrest.

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening when More arrived at the victim's home and began damaging property.

While holding her baby, More struck the victim's door with a blunt object and thrashed violently, endangering the infant's safety.

Deputies arrived on the scene and found More still holding the baby, despite the child's distress.

More refused to cooperate with authorities and continued to resist arrest, putting her baby at further risk.

The baby was not seriously injured, but the incident has raised concerns about More's ability to care for her child.

She is currently being held on an $8,000 bond.
