Florida to Play in U.S. Little League Baseball World Series Championship

Florida will take on Texas in the United States Little League Baseball World Series on Saturday.

Lake Mary, representing the Southeast, beat Nevada 6-3 on Thursday to advance.

Meanwhile, Chinese Taipei will face Venezuela in the International League Championship.

The winner of each championship will meet Sunday in the World Series Championship.

The loser of each championship with play in the Consolation Third Place Game.

Lake Mary is now the fourth Central Florida team to make it to the World Series, although none has won yet.
