The final leg of the tennis grand slam gets underway today with the 56th edition of the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows, New York.

Women's third-seeded Coco Gauff of Delray Beach won her first-ever grand slam title at last year's tournament.

Gauff will play Varvara Gracheva at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Arthur Ashe Stadium, starting the tournament off in what is sure to be dramatic, exciting fashion.

Men's second-seeded Novak Djokovic looks to defend his U.S. Open title just weeks after winning the gold medal at the Paris Olympics.

Djokovic is sandwiched between No. 1 Jannik Sinner and No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz. Iga Świątek is the top seeded woman ahead of Aryna Sabalenka and Gauff.

Both Gauff and Djokovic are in action today.
