Sean Kingston & Mom Plead Not Guilty In Broward County Court

South Florida singer Sean Kingston and his mother have both pleaded not guilty in Broward County to state charges including organized scheme to defraud and grand theft.

"We believe he's innocent. We're looking forward to trying this case either in state or federal court, or both, if necessary," says his attorney, Robert Rosenblatt.

Rosenblatt adds, he plans to argue that one of the cases be dropped because they're tied to the same alleged crimes.

Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, and his mother, Janice Turner, are accused of using his fame to obtain luxury items and then not pay for them.

Their next appearance is set for October 11th.
