Two South-West Miami-Dade Shootings Under Probe

An active police investigation underway near a Homestead-area school. There are police officers with tactical gear seen off SW 124th Avenue and Coconut Palm Drive, next to Somerset Academy Charter High School. There are no reports of the school being impacted.

Meanwhile, about 10 to 15 minutes away from that location, there is a deadly shooting investigation underway. Detectives are gathering information in Goulds, off SW 224th Street and 119th Avenue.

One man has died in the hospital after being rushed from the scene by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

No further information has been released.
