PBIA'S Baggage Claim System Has Been Repaired

People traveling out of Palm Beach were being advised to check ahead on their flights before heading to the airport.

The entire baggage handling system had been experiencing an outage since about 5 a.m. and it was causing everything to be done manually.

That was causing some delays at PBIA, but an airport spokesperson now says that issue has been fixed. According to the spokesperson, Nicole Hughes, the malfunction was repaired by about 1:30 p.m.

There are no more delays related to the outage expected for the rest of the day.
