Florida - Florida has been crowned the "most fun state in America" according to a new study by WalletHub .

WalletHub 's study evaluated all 50 states based on 26 key factors, including amusement parks, arcades, music festivals, restaurants, attractions, fitness centers, golf courses, country clubs, performing arts theaters, marinas, shoreline miles, and weather.

Florida ranked highly in many of these categories, particularly in terms of entertainment and outdoor activities.

The state tied for first with California, New York, and Texas in the number of restaurants and boasts the highest number of marinas in the country.

To determine the most fun states in America, WalletHub compared the 50 states across two primary categories: Entertainment & Recreation and Nightlife.

They evaluated these categories using 26 relevant metrics, each assigned a specific weight.

These metrics were scored on a 100-point scale, with higher scores indicating a greater variety and accessibility of fun, affordable options.

By calculating weighted averages for each state across all metrics, they determined their overall scores and ranked the states accordingly.
