One Dead, One Injured Following Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash In Miami

Miami-Dade, FL - A hit-and-run accident early Monday morning claimed the life of one person and left another person injured.

According to the Miami Police Department, officers responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of 42nd Avenue and SW 8th Street shortly after 3:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered a 29-year-old man deceased at the scene.

A woman driving one of the other vehicles involved in the crash was transported to Coral Gables Hospital with stable injuries.

The driver of the third vehicle, believed to be responsible for the collision, fled the scene.

Miami Police are leading the investigation into the incident.

No suspects have been identified at this time, and authorities have released limited details regarding Monday's fatal accident.
