Say goodbye to Cheddar Bay Biscuits and your favorite seafood dishes, because this popular restaurant chain is unfortunately going out of business.

Red Lobster (one of many restaurant chains currently attempting to navigate bankruptcy as inflation increases and consumer spending decreases) is officially shuttering three more Florida locations, following hundreds of nationwide closures earlier this year.

According to CNN , the popular restaurant chain only has 500 locations open across the country (as of September 1st) after closing down an additional 23 establishments on Saturday (August 31). The once beloved seafood haven, known for their delicious ocean-inspired meals and iconic Cheddar Bay Biscuits, is in the process of being sold to Fortress Credit Corp, who recently named Damola Adamolekun (former chief executive of P.F. Chang’s) the chain's new CEO.

States that shuttered Red Lobster locations as part of the latest round of closures last week include Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, and Virginia.

The latest Florida Red Lobster locations that permanently closed as a result of bankruptcy were located at 326 Miracle Strip Pkwy in Fort Walton Beach, 5110 N. 9th Ave in Pensacola, and 8909 U.S. Highway 19 in Port Richey.
