    South Florida School Evacuated Following Bomb Threat On Wednesday

    Deerfield Beach, FL - A bomb threat forced the evacuation of students and staff from Summerset Key Academy Middle/High School on Wednesday morning.

    The Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) received the threat at approximately 11:34 a.m.

    Deputies and detectives from the BSO Threat Management Unit responded to the scene at 959 SE Sixth Avenue.

    Students were safely evacuated to the school parking lot while authorities investigated the incident.

    After a thorough search, the all-clear was given, and students were allowed to return to class.

    The investigation into the source of the threat is ongoing.

    No further details have been released at this time.
