Fort Lauderdale, FL - South Florida residents with arrest records that did not result in a conviction have an opportunity to clear their records at a free workshop hosted by Broward County on Thursday.

Individuals with cases in Broward County that did not lead to a conviction may be eligible to have their arrest records expunged or sealed.

The Broward State Attorney’s Office will host the event on Thursday, September 19, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Joseph C. Carter Park Gymnasium.

State Attorney Harold F. Pryor and partners from the Broward County Clerk of Courts, the Broward Sheriff’s Office, and the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Parks & Recreation Department will assist attendees with eligible cases.

The workshop is open to both adults and juveniles, and walk-ins are welcome.

Attendees are asked to bring a valid ID.
