Fort Lauderdale, FL - A heartwarming reunion has occurred after a Yorkie that went missing six years ago was found safe and sound in Pompano Beach.

Rocsi, a 13-year-old Yorkie, disappeared from her owners' home in Fort Lauderdale in 2018.

Despite relentless efforts to find her, the Range family had resigned themselves to the possibility of never seeing her again.

However, a miracle occurred when a good Samaritan found Rocsi wandering the streets of Pompano Beach and contacted Broward County Animal Care.

The animal control officer scanned the dog and discovered a microchip, which led them to the Range family.

Overjoyed at the news, the Ranges immediately booked flights to South Florida to be reunited with their beloved pet.

The reunion was an emotional moment for the family, who had missed Rocsi dearly.

The story serves as a reminder of the importance of microchipping pets.

Thanks to Rocsi's microchip, she was able to be identified and returned to her rightful owners after a long separation.
