Total Traffic Miami cameras captured a clown seemingly wielding a large mallet on a pedestrian bridge spanning the Palmetto Expressway Tuesday morning.

The clown with red hair, plaid pants and a patchwork shirt was seen carrying the potential weapon on the walkway of the Palmetto and SW 40th Street around 9:30 a.m.

The Total Traffic Miami video also shows the suspicious clown running down the walkway before officers arrived later to the scene.

He is still at large, and Miami-Dade Police believe he was last seen in the area of Westchester, near Southwest 35th Street and 76 Avenue.

If you have any information that might help investigators, call Miami-Dade Police.
