South Florida Braces For Hurricane Helene Impacts

Storm preparation continues across South Florida as we brace for the impacts of Hurricane Helene. Miami Spokeswoman Kenia Fallat says they're clearing all the catch basins in the city. Crews are ready to respond with outside resources, including pumps and trucks, standing by to help. King Tide conditions will continue and could affect the drainage of stormwater during high tide this afternoon. Avoid driving or walking in flood waters and stay away from downed power lines and electrical wires.
