Devastation from tornadoes spun up by Hurricane Milton on the Treasure Coast.

St. Lucie County Sheriff Keith Pearson took to Facebook to show the agency's large facility that housed their vehicles. The structure was destroyed.

"Right here at the Sheriff's Office...about 10 minutes ago a tornado came ripping through here. This is a devastating tornado. It took out that 10,000 square foot red iron building with all our patrol cars underneath it. Thankfully nobody was in there at the time. This thing came through and took this out within a moment."

He urged residents to stay inside and seek shelter. No deputies were injured by the tornado.

The National Weather Service had several other reports of damage from possible tornados, including multiple incidents in Martin County. They included branches down and damage to a home in Port Salerno, as well as bent power poles, minor structural damage and business signs destroyed.
