A grocery store in Scranton damaged by a fire 2 weeks ago plans to reopen later this week. The Giant grocery store in the Green Ridge Plaza will reopen on Friday June 7th at 6am. Early in the morning of May 20th, a pressure washer sparked a roof insulation fire in the back of the supermarket. The free COLTS transportation provided by the company to the Giant supermarket in Dickson City will end at 6 p.m. Thursday evening.
