Lackawanna College to merge with Philly school

Lackawanna College is moving forward to merge with another higher education institution. Officials with Lackawanna say they intend to merge the school with Philadelphia based Peirce College. The merger still needs to go through several approvals. If approved the two colleges will form under the Lackawanna College name. According to its website Peirce serves approximately 1,300 students enrolled in a wide range of programs offered entirely online.
