NEPA supermarket flooded by heavy rain

Heavy rains and flooding damaged a supermarket in Wilkes Barre. Flood waters have washed out the Schiels Market just before closing last night.   Schiels employees, DPW crews, and volunteers were all busy cleaning up the mess inside and outside the store. Schiels employees said there was at least six inches of water inside the store following last night's heavy rains and flooding in Wilkes Barre, and that store will be closed for cleanup work today.
