Local developer gets the ok to purchase downtown WB building

Wilkes Barre City Council approved the sale of the the First National Bank building on Public Square to Scranton developer John Basalyga. The developer's initial plans for the bank building in the Diamond City is to build a new restaurant, music venue, or some other type of public hospitality related business inside.
