Lehigh Valley Health Network has reached a proposed $65 million settlement in a class action lawsuit over data breaches of medical records of 134,000 patients according to a published report. The lawsuit stemmed from a cyberattack by the Russian ransomware group BlackCat that targeted Lackawanna County-based Delta Medix Group, part of LVHN’s network. The case remains pending in Lackawanna County Court with a final-approval hearing of the proposed settlement scheduled for Nov. 15.
