Pa. State Police investigate officer-involved shooting in Wilkes-Barre

State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting over the weekend in Wilkes Barre.  According to reports, the shooting happened along Holland Street around 11:30 am Sunday morning.  No police officers were hurt, and no word on the condition of the person hit by gunfire. State Police are investigating the shooting, and a Wilkes Barre Police officer is reported to have been placed on administrative leave following that weekend shooting in Wilkes Barre.   State police said the shooting was an "isolated incident" and presents no threat to the public.
