Richmond SPCA waives adoption fees for adult dogs until Friday

Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Richmond Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) says it will waive adoption fees for all dogs over the age of six months until Friday, Oct. 11.

This comes as the shelter continues to receive dogs from areas affected by Hurricane Helene.

After Oct. 11, the shelter says it will discount adoption fees by 25% for the rest of the month.

The Richmond SPCA has taken in over three dozen animals from shelters in North Carolina.
