Last week, as tradition goes, the rookie players currently on the Bills roster arrived for their first training camp in Rochester. Niagara Falls Police investigate fatal domestic incident Wednesday morning
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The Niagara Falls Police Department is investigating a domestic incident that happened on Wednesday morning leaving one person dead. Police reported that they were called to the scene at 2:45 a.m. on 22nd Street where a possible suspect had been seen outside of where the incident occurred.

While waiting for the Genesee County Fair Parade to start on Tuesday evening, Genesee County Legislator Gordon Dibble recalled what he enjoyed as a kid while visiting the summer fair.“The rides, ice cream cones, it’s really a great place to go,” he said, adding why he thinks it’s an important event for the community. “Because it has its roots in the community, in farming, and that’s what we’re about. You know, the animals and all the shows, and it has something for everybody, with a demolition derby … the numbers go up every year here in recent history. So somebody’s doing something right.”

(WNY News Now) – Buffalo – Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane announces that 21-year-old Sharief McBroom of Buffalo pleaded guilty before State Supreme Court Justice Debra Givens to one count of Murder in the Second Degree (Class “A-I” felony), two counts of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree (Class “B” violent felonies) and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felony). The defendant pleaded guilty, as charged, to all counts in the indictment.

17 Cameras Busting Speeders on New York Roads This Week
17 cameras are busting speeders on several roads in the Empire State this week. One of them is back in Central New York. The radar was installed as part of legislation, signed into law in September 2022. The cameras move around the state every week to different construction zones in an effort to get drivers to take their foot off the gas and keep workers safe.
New York forest rangers conduct nearly 20 rescues in one week
The New York State DEC responded to more than a dozen calls for help over the course of a week, most of which were in the Adirondacks. One call for a dehydrated hiker in Keene required assistance from a New York State Police helicopter. Another call involved reports of an unresponsive hiker who had passed out in her car at the Adirondack Mountain Reserve.
FBI raids NY home of Gov. Hochul’s former deputy chief of staff (report)
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has searched the New York home of a former aide to Gov. Kathy Hochul, according to The New York Times. FBI agents reportedly raided a $3.5 million house on Long Island where Linda Sun, Hochul’s former deputy chief of staff, lives with her husband. An FBI spokesman confirmed the “conducted court-authorized law enforcement activity” took place early Tuesday morning, but did not comment further.
