That's precisely why I never allowed my son to play contact sports. A Helmet and protective gear can only protect so much and unfortunately if damage is in fact caused it's not going to be just a simple minor concussion or a few bumps and bruises. Its permanent Brain damage, its spin crushing, bone shattering life changing horrific damage. Why do you think they are paid so well and offered such wonderful medical care?? It's because they understand that these individuals are putting their health,lives and futures at risk. My child is the only male who would carry on the proud family name if not for him??
