I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. My King Shepherd is best friends with my 6 lb longhaired black cat. She climbs on my dog and curls right in!! She gets very protective if someone she doesn't know tries to pet HER cat!! I'm very lucky, the 4 of them get along very well!! I'm so sorry that this attack happened to your dog!! I hope in time, he will come to trust again. His new friend may help more than you know!! Cats are very therapeutic!!
