Town of Newton Summer Events Start This Weekend

NEWTON, NJ—The Town of Newton will be starting this weekend with its special summer events which includes concerts and movie nights.

Newton is partnering with ThorLabs and the Sussex County Community College for a summer concert, which will take place on the Connor Green at SCCC and will be featuring “Mighty Spectrum Band”.

“A concert under the stars” event will be held on Saturday, July 13 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. The rain date for the event will be Monday, July 15.

This event is FREE and made possible due to the following sponsors who worked with the Town of Newton, ThorLabs, and SCCC:

The second summer event will take place at Newton’s own Memory Park on Friday, July 26 starting at 7 p.m.

The outdoor movie night will be featuring the showing of “The Paw Patrol Movie”. This event is also free and has a rain date of Saturday, July 27.
