One family member claims someone set their car on fire, which caused the house to go up in flames soon after. However, Jackson Fire has not determined the motive or what caused the fire.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — If you feel like hitting the beach this weekend with the kids and want a free scoliosis screening, this is the weekend to do it. Akron Children’s Hospital will be at Edgewater Park on Sunday, launching SpineScreen, an initiative to protect kids from the sun and screens for scoliosis simultaneously. Along with a free scoliosis screening from an Akron Children’s provider, the hospital system will give away beach towels and bottles of sunscreen with spine screening tips.
