Victorian home with Italian villa look on ‘Tower Hill’ in Cumberland County: Cool Spaces
Built in 1895, this Victorian farmhouse was one of fifteen “tower homes”in this Cumberland County borough. $500 Million Grant Awarded for I-83 South Bridge Replacement
U.S. Senator Bob Casey announced a $500 million grant from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) to replace the deteriorating I-83 South Bridge, spanning the Susquehanna River between Dauphin and Cumberland counties. The grant, facilitated by the Bridge Investment Program (BIP), will allow the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) to initiate the replacement of the bridge, which is currently in “poor condition” and a top priority for PennDOT due to significant safety concerns and its high daily traffic of 125,000 vehicles.
