Major BART delay at MacArthur Station due to equipment problem on train

SAN FRANCISCO ( KRON ) — BART is reporting a major delay at MacArthur Station in Oakland Monday afternoon due to an equipment problem on a train. The delay, according to Bay Area Rapid Transit District, is affecting trains in the Antioch, Berryessa, Richmond and SFO directions.

There was no immediate word on what caused the equipment problem or when normal service would resume.
