2 Los Angeles Rams Fantasy Football Sleepers For 2024

The Los Angeles Rams are loaded with offensive talent. As one of the poster children for offense this year, this team has no shortage of talent. Between Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, Kyren Williams, and Matthew Stafford, there are plenty of well-known options. However, that means it becomes much more difficult to find amazing sleeper options from the team.

Here’s a look at two fantasy football sleepers hidden on the Los Angeles Rams depth chart.

    Jordan Whittington, WR

Jordan Whittington has led the team in receiving in both preseason games. While Sean McVay notoriously refuses to play starters and often faces teams that do the same, it is hard not to get excited about Whittington.

The rookie has hauled in 11 catches for 126 yards in two games. While those exact numbers might not translate into the regular season, it is attention-grabbing. Certain dynasty leagues may want to snag Whittington in case he gets used more or otherwise traded to another team in the next few seasons.

Whittington didn’t have an eye-popping stat line in college, but under McVay, he might just bloom. If nothing else, a shot in the dark on a player that likely will ride the bench this season offers managers a chance at massive bragging rights.

If Whittington does find a way to pop this year, managers who selected him can gloat about their profound football knowledge.

    Tyler Higbee, TE

Tyler Higbee might be a tight end many managers are tempted to skip. Higbee has spent all training camp on the PUP list with a knee injury, per ESPN . However, his history shows that if he does return, managers will have a starting caliber tight end overnight.

The Rams didn’t put him on the injured reserve, so it appears they anticipate his return sooner rather than later, despite missing the preseason.

Of course, McVay notoriously finds the preseason unnecessary. This means the injury could be him simply allowing Higbee extra rest for when the games begin counting. As such, if you can get Higbee on the cheap, you may luck into getting a tight end worth 600 yards for a fraction of the price. Of course, in any other position, 600 yards would be a non-starter.

However, at tight end, the bar is much lower. If Higbee can net 600 yards when all is said and done, he will be a borderline tight-end starter in line with the general population at the position in the NFL.
