Miami Dolphins Urged To Trade For Bryce Young

The Carolina Panthers made a surprising move by benching Bryce Young, the No. 1 overall pick from the 2023 NFL Draft, following a shaky start to the 2024 season.

That decision has fueled widespread speculation about Young’s future, with some wondering if a change of scenery could be on the horizon.

At just 23 years old, Young has struggled to adjust to the NFL level in his second season. In the Panthers’ first two games, he threw for only 245 yards, failed to score any touchdowns, and tossed three interceptions.

These early challenges have contributed to Carolina’s disappointing 0-2 start, prompting the coaching staff to make the tough call to sit their young quarterback.

NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky believes Young is dealing with a crisis of confidence, but he’s far from ready to write off the young signal-caller. In fact, he has suggested a potential trade.

The move to bench Young has not gone unnoticed, especially as rumors swirl about potential quarterback openings across the league. One team that could emerge as a potential landing spot is the Miami Dolphins.

Orlovsky brought up the Dolphins as a potential trade destination that makes sense for Young.

“Someone will have to come and trade for Bryce Young. I know Ben Solak has mentioned the Miami Dolphins being a location that makes a lot of sense. No one else in my mind makes sense for him.”

With Tua Tagovailoa’s ongoing health concerns, particularly his history of concussions, Miami may need to consider other options for the future. Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel has a proven track record of developing young quarterbacks, making Miami an intriguing destination if the Panthers decide to explore trade possibilities.

However, the Panthers have not indicated that Young is available for trade. Team officials remain optimistic about his long-term potential and may simply be giving him time to reset and regain his confidence after a rough start.

As the NFL season progresses, all eyes will be on the Panthers and Bryce Young.

Whether he stays in Carolina to fight for his starting spot or finds a fresh opportunity elsewhere remains to be seen.
