Sexual assault results in 20 years in State Prison
Submitted by the Niagara County District Attorney’s Office. Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced Duvan A. Berrio-Hernandez, no permanent address, was sentenced today in County Court by Judge Caroline Wojtaszek to serve the next 20 years in State Prison for his conviction of criminal sex act in the first degree. Berrio-Hernandez previously admitted to sexually assaulting a woman in Niagara Falls on Nov. 5 of last year.

The Council for Older Adults (COA) in Niagara County invites residents over age 55 to enter the COA amateur art exhibit. This event includes original artwork in oil, watercolor, sketches, needlework, photography, pottery, jewelry, sculpture and woodworking. Each artist must be at least 55 years old and may submit up to five pieces of art.
