WVU alum Emily Calandrelli to become second WV woman in space
Emily Calandrelli, Morgantown native and WVU graduate, will soon become the second West Virginia woman to go to outer space. With the help of Marshall University and the Wing 2 Wing Foundation, Calandrelli will board Blue Origin’s New Shepard launch vehicle and show the children of Appalachia that they too can reach new heights.
West Virginia building a changing defense
The West Virginia coaching staff has a clear vision for the future of the defense. Now, they’re working on fitting those pieces into making it work properly. BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Good Morning NCWV! We have started off today with some fairly dense fog across a majority of NCWV. This fog seems to be mostly present through the northern half of NCWV as well as the more mountainous regions. This fog will dissipate around 9-10AM. Rain showers and possible thunderstorms are coming to our area this evening, while mostly impacting the more mountainous regions, we are also going to see a few rain showers and possible storms in the lowlands. High temperatures are a bit higher than they were yesterday, getting into the mid 80s in the lowlands and the mid 70s in the higher elevations.
