Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, is trading in his wrestling gear for brewing equipment with the launch of Real American Beer. This new lager, named after his iconic in-ring theme song, will initially be available in Florida and expand to 16 other states by summer’s end, including Minnesota, Colorado, and Missouri. The beer is crafted with 100% North American ingredients and has an ABV of 4.2%, similar to Bud Light. Real American Beer debuted at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and will also be sold at Hard Rock locations and Hooters. Additionally, it will be available at various retailers including ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Albertsons, Safeway, Sam’s Club, Total Wine & More, and Walmart. The brewing details remain undisclosed, but the team is led by Terri Francis, who has experience with The Not Company and Anheuser-Busch InBev. Hogan joins a lineup of wrestlers who have ventured into brewing, following in the footsteps of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, who launched Broken Skull beers with El Segundo Brewing.
