Eluemunor, now the Giants’ best tackle with Andrew Thomas done for the season, told NJ Advance Media Friday that he will, in fact, play vs. the Steelers.With Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt, the Defensive Player of the Year in 2021, lining up exclusively on the right side, this is great news for Daboll and Co.“He’s not doing much,” said Daboll of his right tackle. “He did a walkthrough. I think he’ll be okay. But I can’t guarantee it.”Elsewhere on the offensive line, Daboll said he’s still deciding who will start at left tackle, but that it’s a battle between former third-round pick Josh Ezeudu, who started last week and gave up two sacks, and newly-signed veteran Chris Hubbard.On the other side of the ball, Daboll said he’ll “see today” about status of the Giants’ three injured corners — Cor’Dale Flott (groin), Adoree’ Jackson (neck) and Tre Hawkins (ankle) — but he could not commit to whether they’d play or not.“Yeah, we’ll see today. Did some stuff yesterday. We’ll do some more stuff today. Let it go another day here and see where they’re at.”Flott, who Daboll said was “better than anticipated” when discussing his injury Friday, got hurt in Sunday’s brutal 28-3 loss to the Eagles, which dropped the Giants to 2-5. He did not practice Thursday and was limited Friday. He has played in every game so far and has a 62.5 Pro Football Focus coverage grade.He is the starter opposite disappointing No. 1 corner Deonte Banks (57.1 grade), with encouraging third-round rookie Dru Phillips in the slot.If Flott can go, then the lineup won’t look any different — he and Banks will line up on the outside, with Phillips inside.
