The state Department of Community Affairs (DCA) kicked off the week announcing the launch of a new and improved Data Hub.

The tool offers streamlined access to the DCA’s public information, such as:

    • Local government licenses and registrations

    • Disaster recovery

    • And more.

This new iteration enables users to enter search terms and browse by categories, like housing, economic development and taxes. It also offers external links to related datasets from several state agencies.

“Our data team has developed a new and improved version of DCA’s Data Hub, an open data portal that increases the visibility and accessibility of DCA’s public-facing data products,” said DCA Commissioner Jacquelyn Suarez
    in a press release.

Suarez noted that DCA uses data-driven decision-making to tackle policy challenges. She said that by leveraging this information, the public can make informed choices that create sustainable solutions for the future.

“This offering is just one of the many ways DCA acts as a vital resource for the state’s residents,” Suarez added.
