    MAD Global acquisition opens NY operation

    MAD Global announced Aug. 13 the acquisition of Millennial Strategies launching the firm’s expansion into New York.

    Millennial Strategies, a New York-based boutique political consulting firm, was co-founded by Jeff Guillot and Alex Voetsch , who will join MAD Global as managing directors to lead the operation across the Hudson. Longtime Millennial staffers Jenny Kate Schlagel and Tiffany Bryant are also joining the MAD Global team.

    New York is now the third state in which Summit-based MAD Global has opened full-time operations, joining New Jersey and Ohio . The firm also has a presence in Pennsylvania and Washington state .

    “Our acquisition of Millennial Strategies not only expands our East Coast footprint, but also boosts our reach and expertise in the New York metropolitan market,” said Laura Matos, MAD Global partner.

    DuHaime said the firm continues to add top-tier talent in key markets, such as Guillot and Voetsch, who bring public and private sector experience to the firm. At Millennial, Guillot oversaw the governmental and public affairs division while Voetsch oversaw the campaign division.
