Atlantic Health System is expanding its footprint in Central Jersey.

After signing a lease for an 18,000 square-foot-space at Manalapan Commons in Manalapan, the Morristown-based network and partner CentraState Healthcare System expect to open a facility soon, according to property owner Urban Edge Properties .

At the multi-specialty care center, Atlantic Health and CentraState will offer educational programs, support groups, health screenings, fitness classes and other resources to help individuals maintain a healthy lifestyle.

At the Route 9 shopping center, Atlantic Health will join tenants including Best Buy, Panera Bread, Five Below, PetSmart and Raymour & Flanigan. Nordstrom Rack is also expected to open next spring.

The lease agreement follows Atlantic Health’s recent opening of a 4,517-square-foot urgent care clinic at Greenbrook Commons in Watchung, also owned by Urban Edge.

The lineup at the Route 22 property features Aldi, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Buffalo Wild Wings, The Vitamin Shoppe, Phenix Salon Suits and Rockbox. High-end furniture retailer Ethan Allen is relocating its Watchung design center to Greenbrook Commons this fall, too.

Justin Lustig, vice president of leasing for Urban Edge, commented, “As Atlantic Health focuses on providing patients with accessible care in ways that are more convenient to them in Central Jersey, these Manalapan and Watchung locations offer significant new opportunities to help them meet existing and new patients.”
