Toast City Diner is adding a fifth New Jersey location.

Scheduled to open this winter at 357 Route 9 in Manalapan, the diner-style eatery will serve a variety of pancakes, omelets, salads, bowls, sandwiches and burgers.

Since its 2007 founding in Montclair, Toast has gone on to add restaurants in Asbury Park, Red Bank and Cranford.

Amy Russo, Toast’s founder, said she and her partner Adam Torine are “incredibly excited” to introduce the restaurant to Manalapan.

“Our goal is to bring the unique charm and flavors that have made Toast a favorite breakfast and lunch spot for over 17 years with another location in Monmouth County,” she said.

At Manalapan Towne Pointe Center, Toast is taking over space formerly occupied by Project Brunch. It joins a lineup that includes Paris Baguette, Lightbridge Academy, Edible Arrangements, Chase, Goldfish Swim School, Flemington Furs and Pure Barre.

Torine added, "Manalapan is the perfect place for Toast to continue our expansion across New Jersey. We can't wait to welcome the community into our Toast family and to create a space where friends and families can come together to enjoy great food and make lasting memories."

Instead of opening another one why don’t they teach the cook and servers at the red bank location? The food and service are horrible!
